Circumcision to Treat Phimosis and Frenulum Breve

Dear Dr. Reed,

I am 24 years old, from Haiti, have a good job here in West Palm Beach,
and would like my phimosis to be corrected once and for all with a circumcision.

Also note when erect the head of my penis seems to point down. Is this normal (I don’t think so)
and can this be easily corrected at the same time?

Dear Renaud,

We are no stranger to correcting phimosis as we have done over 8000 adult circumcisions,
often a few every week. All the constricting scar tissue has to be removed otherwise you
may have a ring like contracture on your shaft called “paraphimosis.” Check out the photos
on (example # 14)

As far as the frenulum goes, this can be removed at no added charge. A tight frenulum, also called
“frenulum breve” could be associated with downward tilting of your glans (head) and simple removal
would correct that (98% of the time). You’ll be so happy to be normal. Please no penetrating sexual activity for about
8 weeks. Normal nocturnal erections do not have to be discouraged and bring a restorative blood flow to your
penis which helps to assure your head will be in alignment with the shaft.

Do know if you remember, but the nose of the Concorde jet tilted downwards and for this reason, it has been called
the SST deformity.

Please call Anne at the office to set up an ;appointment. We will show you every courtesy. We have a modest following
of Haitian professionals (architects and businessmen) as patients, some fly in regulary for prostate exams..
