Frenulum removal

Dr. Reed,

When I was circumcised I asked that my frenulum not be removed, now I am having second thoughts because dirt collects there and my head tilts down with erections.  Is this easy to fix?

David

Dear David,

Yes,  In the world of minor operations, this is quite minor surgery.  We can do you under local and hopefully it will heal like a newborn circumcision.  Please don’t worry about loss of sensitivity and no patient of mine has ever complained of that it is very remotely possible.  We have done over 8,000 adult circumcisions and revisions.

In 90% of the patients’ this will also correct a so called frenulum-breve, or so called SST deformity when you are erect.  Named after the downward tilt of the nose of the Concorde jet.  Please see frenulectomy photos
